Warringtonfire has a long history and heritage that can trace their origins back over 50 years to 1965.

Warringtonfire is a global testing, inspection and certification company that delivers critical services in materials testing, product qualification testing, inspection and certification to the Fire and Building Products marketplace.

Warringtonfire's first purpose built testing laboratory was opened in 1975.

Following a management buyout in 1986, Warringtonfire extended its scope of services to include inspection, certification and consulting services.

From 2006 Warringtonfire went through several changes of ownership, before it became part of the Element Group in June 2017.
